We make recycling scrap metal simple and convenient. Before arranging a drop off or requesting a pick up, please check the information below to understand what we accept and which service applies.
Household Metal Items
Free Drop Off for Single Items
Free Pick Up for Large Household Volumes
We do not offer pick up for single household items. These must be dropped off at our yard for free during business hours.
If you have a large household volume, such as multiple appliances or a significant amount of metal, we can organise a free pick up, provided the quantity meets our minimum requirement.
Accepted household metal items:
- Washing machines
- Dryers
- Ovens and stoves
- Fridges and freezers (emptied and clean)
- Dishwashers
- Microwaves
- Hot water systems
- Rangehoods
- Metal bed frames
- Metal shelves
- Metal tools and equipment
- Bikes and scooters
- Pots, pans and other metal household goods
Items must be predominantly metal in order to be accepted.
Free Pick Up
Large Scrap Metal Loads Only
We offer free pickup for commercial/residential loads and any large quantities of metal. Minimum volume requirements apply.
Suitable for free pick up:
- Factory cleanouts
- Construction site scrap
- Commercial metal waste
- Large quantities of steel, copper, aluminium or mixed metals
- Bulk machinery
- Car bodies depending on condition
- Farm scrap or large rural loads
- Large household metal volumes

Items We Do Not Accept
- Gas bottles, unless safely degassed
- Paint cans with liquid inside
- Chemicals or hazardous materials
- Items with significant amounts of plastic or wood
- Electronics that contain lithium batteries, unless the battery has been removed

How to Drop Off
- Bring your metal items to our yard during opening hours
- Follow the signs to the drop-off area
- Our team will guide you as needed
- Drop off is free and fast with no appointment required
